Strongly recommend a visit to Paronella Park. The staff are unobtrusive and definitely go the little bit further. Nothing is too much trouble for them. An example is when we visited it began to rain and a staff member came, with umbrellas to ensure all patrons were kept dry.The history is given in a relaxed manner, by knowledgeable staff. This destination is a credit to the proprietors.
A must see in FNQ. Take the tour, the story really makes the place come to life. Tours provided in ALL languages! Our guide Mandy was funny and knowledgeable. Price of about $45 adult is worth it to keep the park going, plus 2 years unlimited visits included. Kids enjoyed feeding the turtles and patting a very tame eel.
Paronella Park is a place that everyone should see! Absolutely stunning, pictures won't really show the beauty of it. So unique, I have never seen anything like this. Both out guide Alexis and Les, who showed us around and told us some stories were awesome!I strongly recommend this place:)
You couldn't come to north Qld and not come here!!! Such a beautiful place and such an inspiring story of Jose Paronella. The guides explain all the details of how this place came to be so well. The meals in the cafe were great also, cant wait to come back again.
Id heard quite a lot, and seen many photos.. But nothing prepared me for the beauties that awaited us inside the gates! Paronella Park made the perfect setting for me to give my sisters a surprise birthday picnic! We sat by the castle on the grass, surrounded by beauty and history! It was beautiful,.. Mark was a friendly, welcoming us to the park! Dylan was an absolutely legendary guide, and he fully inspired us to follow our dreams! (Give that guy a pay rise!). Les was an fantastic help too! Hes photography was amazing, and at such an affordable price! I cant believe you guys offer a 2 year pass for no extra cost!! So generous! On behalf of my two sisters and myself, we thank you all greatly for the everlasting memories we made last Monday! We can not wait to visit again!! Xxx
