Good guys will find crocodiles fun day out
Have not done the trip as I am an ex tour guide (Cairns to Darwin across the bottom of the Gulf ) and I norlive on the Johnstone river... however I have met the staff and they are friendly and knowledgeable. Their approach seems no nonsense and very profesional. The boat is well appointed and highly suitable to take you crocodile watching... and there are crocodiles here, lots of them! So don't be tempted to swim in the river or at the beach at Coconuts or the other side Coquet Pt, there are big ones about.
My partner and I went on one of the tours today and the service is incredible, the owner really knows what he is talking about and is extremely passionate about what he does, unfortunately we didnt have much luck with the crocs but being in the wild we cant be to disappointed as we still had a great time.
Also this attraction was not possible to visit, the snapping boat was under maintenance.
We did the 1030 tour, the staff were friendly and knew their stuff. We saw about 8-10 crocs including a little baby one. It was a great tour and I would definitely recommend it.
